Welcome to the All American Tri-Tip Cook Off

Grab your friends and family and join us for the First Annual All American Tri-Tip Cook Off! The tri-tip tasting starts at noon. Entry to the event is free and parking is free.  Tri-Tip tasting tickets are only $__ and are limited. The family friendly event promises to be a fun -filled delicious afternoon for everyone!

The Cook Off will feature __ BBQ competition teams vying for the title of All American Tri-Tip Cook off Champ! In addition, attendees will enjoy multiple craft and commercial vendors; delicious foods; a great kids area; and a high-energy live concert.

Crime Victims United of California Charitable Foundation (CVUCF)


Violent crime shatters lives and often-young victim are left to repair their lives without assistance. CVUCF provides a myriad of support and assistance to crime victims. Funding from this event will assist in sustaining the only scholarship program for young crime victims assisting them achieve higher education, support the at-risk prevention scholarship, and assist with support for innocent victims of crime as the navigate the complexities the judicial system.

Auburn Recreation District Youth Assistance Fund


The Auburn Area Recreation and Park District (ARD) was established in 1948 and has been providing recreation programs for our youth. However many families cannot afford the costs associated with the programs thus leaving young boys and girls with the inability to participate. Funding from this event will help sustain the youth assistance fund, which offsets cost for numerous children so they can participate in a myriad programs, developing lifelong skills.

Placer High School Football


Placer High school is home to one of the most storied football programs in the state. Founded in 1897, the Hillmen have taken part in many great gridiron battles for well over a century. In recent years, current head coach and former alumni, Joey Montoya and his staff have help return the program to prominence. Funding from this event will help sustain and build the program equipment and training for the young men and the future of this Hillmen tradition.

Here's some information to make this great event fun and organized:

  • ORANGE TICKETS are for rib tasting only
  • GREEN TICKETS are for after 3pm tastings
  • POKER CHIP is for rib voting
  • Carefully select which teams you would like to taste from
  • Only 1 rib (tasting) per orange ticket
  • No more than 2 tastings per person at a time
  • Place poker chip in favorite team’s bucket
  • Spirit contest voting at trophy booth
  • Voting for all categories will end at 3pm

No.  No outside food or drinks are allowed.

We welcome the entire family and there is food and entertainment for all ages, including a beer garden for adults and a kid’s zone full of fun. Please leave your pets at home unless certified as a companion pet because of the crowds.

Tons of fun. Good Beer. Delicious Ribs. Great Music. Fantastic raffle baskets.  Vendors with crafts, goods and services. Kids area with entertainment.  Delicious foods, and more!

Parking is free at the park. Come early to get a spot.

ADMISSION IS FREE and includes entertainment, tons of vendors and fun for the family.

  • INDIVIDUAL TICKETS for rib tasting are only $25/ea
  • VIP TICKETS are $125/ea and include entrance to private/shaded seating area, rib tastings brought to you, additional catered food, hosted cocktail/beer/wine bar, wine tasting from Black Vette winery and more!

Tickets are limited so purchase them soon!

The event runs from 11 am to 4 pm. Tastings start at noon and goes until we run out. The peoples’ choice trophy winners are announced at 3:30 pm.
